Sometimes You Just Need a Little Help
Have questions about funding, partnerships, or how we work? Explore our FAQs to learn how we support founders, engage investors, and collaborate with mentors through our venture capital firm and studio model
We invest in early-stage, tech-driven or tech-enabled startups solving real problems across Africa. Our focus sectors include agritech, fintech, healthtech, Web3, and green innovation.
We primarily invest at the pre-seed to Series A stages. Through our venture studio, we also work with founders from the idea or MVP stage to help them validate and scale.
Our studio offers hands-on support — from product development and go-to-market strategy to mentorship, fundraising preparation, and ecosystem access. We co-create and actively support selected ventures.
Not necessarily. If your idea is strong, scalable, and backed by a committed team, we’ll work with you to refine your model and set up the structure you need.
We open applications in structured cohorts. When the application window is open, founders are invited to submit their details through our online form. Each submission is carefully reviewed, but only selected founders are contacted to proceed to the next stage.
To stay informed about upcoming opportunities, we encourage you to sign up for our newsletter in the footer and be the first to know when we’re accepting new pitches, launching programs, or announcing events.
Our primary focus is Africa, but we’re open to ventures based elsewhere if their solution addresses challenges in African markets or has relevant regional impact.
We collaborate with angel investors, family offices, and institutional investors interested in early-stage, impact-driven opportunities. We also offer co-investment and deal-sharing opportunities.
We welcome experienced professionals passionate about guiding founders. Fill out our Mentor Interest Form, and we’ll get in touch with next steps.
We are strong believers in the power of entrepreneurship to drive economic progress, innovation, and impact — especially across Africa and other emerging markets. Our venture capital firm and studio exist to support founders by offering resources, connections, and capital to help them build and grow. But we need to be clear about the limits of our role and responsibilities.
We are not lawyers, financial advisors, or investment brokers — and we don’t pretend to be. Our team is made up of entrepreneurs, builders, operators, strategists, and ecosystem enthusiasts. The information we share on this website or through any of our programs is meant to inform, inspire, and connect — not to provide financial, legal, or investment advice.
Any business-related decisions you make — whether as an entrepreneur, investor, partner, or mentor — are entirely your own responsibility. We strongly encourage all users to do their own due diligence, seek professional advice, and understand the risks involved before entering into any business or investment relationship.
If you're a founder approached by an investor, please conduct your own checks.
If you're an investor considering a startup in our network, perform your own due diligence.
If we help connect you with someone, the responsibility remains with you.
